Local Unpaid Internships
For over 22 years, Duke has provided students with opportunities to gain experience in a variety of career fields through internships in local businesses and organizations. Each semester, Duke students volunteer their time, talents and energy in exchange for quality professional experiences.
Whether you are interested in exploring a particular career field or you have several career interests you would like to investigate, a local unpaid internship can be a valuable tool in evaluating your options. These internships are available in the Triangle area in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Local internships are a great way to explore your interests in particular career fields while gathering information for career decision making and developing some essential "on the job" skills.
