Canvass Directors and Assistant Canvass Directors will manage one of up to 30 grassroots field offices, with bottom-line responsibility for all local operations.  Most canvass offices will reach 50,000 households, identify 8,000 new donors and raise $250,000. 

Job Opportunity: Field Organizer

Grassroots Campaigns, Inc. is hiring field organizers to work on the Progressive Voter Network and with MoveOn.org to build local networks of concerned volunteers and voters in targeted Congressional districts in presidential swing states. The volunteers in each network will hone their skills between elections by working on progressive issue campaigns. These networks of seasoned volunteers will be the leaders in the fall of '08 of a cutting edge voter drive to take back the White House.

Job Opportunity: Election Field Staffer

Election Campaign Staff will work as assistant directors in our fundraising campaign offices to build financial and volunteer support for the Democratic Party's organizing efforts. In late September, staff will work with MoveOn.org's innovative voter identification and get out the vote campaign in all the swing states as well as the progressive blue state cities to get all voters out to the polls.
