On-Campus Recruiting


Duke University has a number of employers that come to campus to interview students for full-time and internship opportunities. Students are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities by participating in the on-campus recruiting process. The process includes the following steps:

1. Complete the required Recruiting Orientation provided by the Career Center on Blackboard.
2. Review your resume and cover letters with the Career Center.  Meet with a career counselor if you haven’t already.
3. Create an account on Duke eRecruiting by following these steps:

* Click on "Get Password" if you are a new user
* You will be prompted to enter your user name and password.
     - Your user name is the combination of "duke" and your NetID (example: dukeabc123).
     - Once you enter your user name, your password will be emailed to your Duke email account.  
* You will need to complete your profile the first time you use the system. We also recommend that you change your password the first time that you log in.
* If you have any questions, please call the Career Center at 919-660-1050.

4. Review recruiting events in Duke eRecruiting, the Career Center webpage, Career email lists and The Chronicle.
5. Attend employer information sessions.
6. Submit resumes and cover letters for positions of interest in Duke eRecruiting.
7. You will be contacted by employers if you are pre-selected for an interview.
8. Sign up for interviews.
9. Interview with employers.
