Interested in building a terrific science and research base for your career?

Duke University is in need of individuals to work on research projects funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, also referred to as the Economic Stimulus Act.  Duke is currently in the process of aggressively pursuing funding from agencies such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF).  We anticipate obtaining funding in the immediate future, which will create immediate employment opportunities.

The positions we anticipate to be available are technical ones associated with various areas of scientific research and have a projected duration of two years.  The timing of these opportunities is ideal for a graduating student or recent Duke graduate who has aspirations to go on to graduate or professional school in areas of science and technology, to obtain hands-on laboratory experience for a career in medicine, or even to initiate a research-based career.

If you are interested we strongly encourage you to visit the Human Resources web site which further describes the opportunities and lists the anticipated positions.  If you have an interest in one of these opportunities please submit an application immediately.  Current students should apply via Duke eRecruiting as well as Duke Human Resources to be considered.  In eRecruiting, search under Jobs using the keywords "Economic Stimulus."

You can find more information on the Economic Stimulus Job Opportunities site.
