Mock Interview Days
Thursday and Friday, September 17 and 18, 2009
Could you use some practice interviewing as the recruiting season begins? If so, the Career Center will be conducting mock interviews for seniors and graduate students (with limited availability), who want some practice and feedback on their interview skills. Mock interviews will take place 03 Page Building and will be conducted by career counselors and corporate recruiters.
Each student may sign up in eRecruiting for a 45-minute slot. Interviews will be behavioral and each student will walk away with valuable feedback to prepare for recruitment season.
Note: Before beginning the registration process you will need to upload a resume.
To Register for a Mock Interview:
In eRecruiting, in the "Search" field -search for "Career Center Mock Interviews" under Jobs.
Submit your resume and sign up for an interview time on the Mock Interview schedule that matches your career interest or the schedule marked GENERAL MOCK INTERVIEW.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR MOCK INTERVIEWS:
Monday, September 14, 2009 (11:59PM) for Sept. 17th interviews
Tuesday, September 15, 2009 (11:59PM) for Sept. 18th interviews

The Mock Interview
Mock interviews generally last 45-minutes and include the mock interview and a post-interview discussion and critique.
On the day of the interview, you should:
- Dress appropriately in professional interview attire.
- Arrive early (at least 10 min.) before the interview.
- Bring an extra copy of your resume.
After the Mock Interview
- Complete and submit a mock interview evaluation form.
- Determine additional interview preparation needed.
