function:
As CEO of Renegade Marketing Group my job is to cultivate Renegade
thinking and champion Renegade ideas. Sounds like fun, doesn't
it?

1993-Founded Renegade with funding from Dentsu
What were some of your activities at Duke?
Avid film buff, Freewater Series Chairman, Union Treasurer,
Intramural Sports
How has Duke influenced your success?
Duke really helped me get my first job since my prospective
employer just assumed I was smart. By the time they found out the
truth, it was too late to dump me. 25 years later, I'm still
fooling them. Go Devils!
What is the best career advice you would give students
interested in your career field?
First, make sure you really love marketing. If not, try banking.
It's an easier way to make money. Then ask yourself if you could
enjoy being a waiter? If not, you'll be much happy as a client than
as agency person.
What do you do in your free time?
Coach soccer, ski, paddle tennis, golf, poker, tennis, make movies,
read historical fiction, read page turners, help with
homework...

Japan, China, Jamaica, Italy, Canada
