David works as the Program Support and Customer Service Specialist in the Career Center, helping students set appointments and answering questions about Duke’s career services.  He joined the Career Center staff in September 2007.  David moved to Durham from Mesa, Arizona, in August 2006, and completed a Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree in New Testament Studies at Duke Divinity School in September 2008.  Prior to coming to North Carolina, he was the Student Services Coordinator for five years at Fuller Theological Seminary Southwest in Phoenix.  He also has a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Seminary (‘04) and B.A.s’ in History and in Religious Studies from Arizona State University (‘99).

In the off hours, David enjoys music, movies, books, skateboarding, and obnoxiously long conversations with friends.  He is frightened by sweet tea, intrigued by the fact that biscuit-and-gravy fast-food restaurants actually exist, and happy to now know about North Carolina vinegar-based BBQ.
