PhD Career Symposia 

Each academic year a day-long symposia or a series of programs provides you the opportunity to connect with alumni/ae of your department and professionals outside of Duke who share your interests.  Alumni/ae of the Duke Graduate School and other professionals are happy to advise advanced students about career opportunities in their fields or organizations. The symposia panelists and speakers demonstrate how they have put their advanced degrees in the humanities, social sciences, the biological/physical sciences and engineering to use in a variety of work settings—in education, government agencies, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
