Duke eRecruiting

Duke eRecruiting is a job posting and on-campus interview system for Duke undergraduate students, students in The Graduate School and Duke alumni. For current Duke students interested in finding an internship, the system allows you to view job postings, apply for positions by posting your resume and cover letter, and also monitor and accept interviews. GoingGlobal

 Going Global is a subscription provided for current undergraduate students.  It is the leading provider of country specific employment and career information. The online, unlimited access subscription database contains country career guides, corporate profiles and more than 100,000 international internship and job openings.  [More information]

Internship Exchange (University Career Action Network)

Duke has partnered with a group of 19 highly selective colleges and universities to create this dynamic database of thousands of internships, summer jobs, fellowships and other short-term opportunities. Employers post their opportunities here if they are interested in hiring students from these select institutions. By entering into this partnership, we have obtained access for Duke students to a wide variety of internship opportunities across the country.  Internships posted to the consortium are available through the UCAN Symplicity Database. Internship Series Online

Duke subscribes to Internship Series Online, an online internship database that provides links to opportunities listed in 14 publications and to many employer sites. The online guides include Advertising, 107th Congress, Environment, History, Human Rights, International Affairs, Law & Policy, Media, Resort & Seasonal Employment, Sports, State Parks, Top Companies and Women’s Rights. Career Search

CareerSearch is an extensive database that includes over one million companies along with contact names, addresses, phone numbers, website addresses and a variety of company background information. The database can be searched according to industry type, location, and keywords. The site includes additional features such as an internship search function, salary wizard and reports that include information about demographics, rankings, and the business environment regarding top cities in the United States. Email Lists

The Career Center periodically disseminates information to interested students through a number of email lists. Maintained by the Career Center, these email lists allow you to receive information specific to your career interests. Examples include Business; Engineering, Physical Sciences and Technology; Environment; Government, Policy and Law; Health, Medicine and Life Sciences; Intercultural, International and Non-profit lists. Local Unpaid Internships

Local unpaid internships provide students with the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of career fields while working for businesses and organizations in our area. Internships are available in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Whether you are interested in exploring a particular career field or you have several career interests that you would like to investigate, these internships can be a valuable tool in evaluating your options.
