The first 350 students to arrive will get a free t-shirt!
The Fannie Mitchell Career Conference is an event that brings a huge number of Duke alumni back to campus to share their wisdom and experience with current students. It’s an opportunity for you to explore and learn more about a wide variety of careers, especially those you are a little curious about. It is a chance to connect and network with one of Duke’s greatest resources, its alumni. The people you begin relationships with at the Career Conference can serve as mentors and guides as you step into the real world.
It’s not a career fair; it’s a fun, casual time to check out what’s out there and hear about it firsthand.
The Career Conference will start with donuts and coffee, provide two industry discussions and include a free lunch with alumni in between. You are strongly encouraged to read biographies of alumni before the conference to get some individual advice.
2009 Fannie Mitchell Career Conference alumni profiles and registration (Student registration opens December 29)
This is the sixth annual Career Conference brought to you by the Career Center and Duke Alumni Association. Until 2008, the conference was a part of Duke Career Week. Because the alumni biographies and contact information are such a valuable resource, we include previous year's websites through the links below.
