This website is created by the US Department of Labor. Their descriptions about careers are thoroughly researched and nicely detailed for you. Each career includes information such as the nature of the work, working conditions, employment trends, training and qualifications needed, and related careers.

Vault (www.vault.com)
Vault is a nice tool to use to research careers and organizations. You can also use it as a job or internship search tool and find a recruiter. Their website also feature day in the life stories which is very useful.

Wetfeet (www.wetfeet.com)
Wetfeet provides excellent snapshots of a variety of careers. You can also find information on a day in the life of a person working in a particular career, industry information and how they break down, top companies in each industry and some salary information.
